About this website

This site is general information about our firm. It isn’t tax, legal or accounting advice for your situation, and sending us a message doesn’t make us your tax adviser. We become your tax professional when you sign an engagement letter.

Please keep papers and numbers off this website

The forms and booking notes on this site are emailed to us in the ordinary way and kept in our inbox, so they aren’t a secure way to send anything sensitive. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank details, birth dates or tax papers through them. If you hire us, we’ll set up our encrypted client portal and you’ll send documents there.

Information you give us here

When you request a call or book a time, we receive your name, phone number, email address and what you need help with. We use them only to reach you and to arrange your appointment. We never sell your information.

Email reminders

We email deadline reminders and tax tips only to people who sign up on this site. We don’t add current or past clients to the list from our tax records, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Information collected automatically

This site uses privacy-friendly analytics that count visits without cookies and without identifying you. We don’t use advertising pixels, session recording or chat tools on this site.

Your client records

Once you’re a client, your records live in our client portal and practice software, not on this website. We keep them for seven years, only the people who work on your return can open them, and you can ask us for a copy at any time. We follow the Federal Trade Commission’s Safeguards Rule for protecting client information.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete what you’ve sent us through this website at any time.
